A tool for the moments you can’t be in the room.
Calyn is built to complement your practice, not replace it. Here's what it can do for the people you work with.
Most of your clients’ lives happen between sessions. We’re trying to make those weeks less alone.
Between-session continuity
Clients can journal, process, and practice the skills you’ve been working on, in their own words, in their own time. Calyn is trained to reinforce evidence-based modalities (CBT, ACT, IFS, motivational interviewing) without contradicting your clinical approach.
Session summaries, with consent
Your clients can choose to export a private, plain-language summary of what they’ve been working on with Calyn, to share with you ahead of a session. They control what’s shared, with whom, and for how long.
Warm hand-offs in both directions
When Calyn detects a moment needing human support, we surface our partner directory of licensed therapists. If your practice wants to be listed for matching, get in touch. Conversely, you can recommend Calyn to clients as a between-session companion: we offer a white-labeled portal for practices who want to do this at scale.
What Calyn won’t do
- Diagnose. We don’t claim to diagnose any clinical condition.
- Prescribe. We don’t recommend medication.
- Handle crises. Calyn refers to crisis lines and emergency services, immediately.
- Replace your work. We frame ourselves explicitly as a complement, in-product, every session.
Partnership and research
We collaborate with practices and academic groups on outcomes research, methodology audits, and pilot programs. See our research page for current publications, or reach out to discuss a partnership.
Try it yourself
The best way to evaluate Calyn for your practice is to use it. Start a conversation. If you’d like a clinician walkthrough with our clinical director, let us know.
