Getting started

How do I start a conversation?

Open Calyn and type or hold the mic. You don't need to sign up or know what to say first. Calyn will meet you wherever you start.

Do I need an account?

You can try Calyn without an account. An account lets us remember your context across devices and conversations.

Can I use Calyn in my language?

Calyn is available in 30+ languages. Voice and text both work in any supported language.

Privacy and data

Who sees what I tell Calyn?

Only you. Conversations are encrypted on your device before they leave it. Nothing is sold, nothing is used to train public models.

How do I delete a conversation?

Tap any message, conversation, or your full history, and tap delete. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Can I export my data?

Yes, in plain text or as a clinician-friendly summary. Settings → Export.

Billing

How do I cancel?

Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Two taps, no email back-and-forth. You keep access until the end of your billing period.

Do you offer financial support?

Yes. If cost is the only thing keeping you from using Calyn, write to us at contact and we’ll work something out.

Safety

What if I'm in crisis?

Calyn is not a crisis service. If you’re in danger, please use a crisis line or your local emergency number. Calyn surfaces these any time it detects a moment that needs real human support.

Is Calyn a replacement for a therapist?

No. Calyn is for the moments between, before, or instead of sessions you can’t access. When you want a human, we help you find one.

How do you handle children and teens?

Calyn is for users 18 and older. We're working on a youth-specific product, designed with adolescent clinicians, and not yet available.
